CLASS 1 NOVICE MINIMUS CLASS
(Especially designed for young horses and new combinations).
Open only to Horse/Rider combinations never to have been placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in any One Day Event

(Especially designed for horse and rider combinations graduating to Riding Club & Pony Club Novice Horse Trials)
Open to any Horse/Rider combinations.

CLASS 3 INTRO CLASS
(Especially designed for new combinations and aspirants to Riding and Pony Club Area Levels & BE Intro Class)
Open only to Horse/Rider combinations never to have secured any BE points.
Showjumping and Cross Country up to 3’1”
Dressage Test: BE90 Test BE92
ENTRY FEES: £47.00 (£40.00 + £7.00 VAT)
Starting fee: £5.00 per horse to cover medical, veterinary and insurance costs (cash only). See Rule 11
Entries can be made on the internet www.bdwp.co.uk under heading Cleobury UA as well as by post.
PRIZES will be awarded in kind to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each section to the
total value of £150.00. Rosettes
to 6th place in each section. A special rosette will be awarded to the best Pony
Club Member in each section.
N.B. Persons not appearing for prize giving will forfeit their prize.
No entries will be accepted unless accompanied by appropriate fee and entered on official entry form.
Entries may be limited and will be allocated on a “first come, first served”
basis. In the event of entries
exceeding 40 in any class, two equal sections will be run with equivalent prizes
for each as above.
The course will be open for walking from 2.00 pm on from Saturday 31st July.

Due to the unavailability of numbered bibs, please bring your
own bib and paper numbers will be provided by us
THE RULES
1.All entries must be accompanied by the correct fee. No refunds after
closing date. In the case of bad weather, either a new date will be arranged and
all entries stand, or in the case of abandonment £10 will be retained from each
entry and the balance refunded.
2. Riding hats conforming to PAS015, EN1384 or ASTM F1163 must be worn at all
times when mounted. No responsibility will be taken by the organisers if riders
do not conform to this requirement. Effective body protectors must be worn on
the cross country phase.
3. The organisers decision is final. They reserve the right to refuse entry to,
cancel or alter classes at their discretion. Any objection is to be made in
writing with a £10 deposit within 30 minutes of the occurrence.
4. All classes ridden under B.E. rules . It is up to the competitors to check
that their tack conforms to these rules.
5. No claim will be entertained by the organisers or landowners for any injury
or damage caused to or suffered by any horse, pony, person, vehicle or property
in connection with or arising from the competition, whether or not the said
injury, loss or damage is caused by negligence of the organisers, their
officials or stewards.
6. Health & Safety. The organisers of this event have taken
reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For
these measures to be effective everyone themselves must take precautions to
avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the
organisers, officials and stewards.
7. No horse or pony may be ridden by more than one competitor and entry is
limited to one class during the day per horse. Riders may enter more than horse
per class.
8. Insurance. Each competitor must carry their own insurance
liability, whether Pony Club, Riding Club, BHS, B.E., or Independent. No claim
will be entertained by the organisers in the event of an accident.
9. Replacement Entries or change of rider can be accepted after
closing date, subject to a £5 penalty.
10. No horse or pony will be accepted under the age of 4.
11. Starting Fees payable only on collecting their number (cash
only). Start Fees paid in advance with entry will be forfeited.
12. By completing an entry form, it is deemed that you accept to abide by the
rules.
